WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:


As Senior PreSales Solution Architect, you will be part of our PreSales Solution Consulting team and will directly report to the Director of PreSales Solution Consulting in North America. You will be part of a global team of solution architects. You will be the technical expert in the sales cycle supporting the Sales team on topics like:

  • Hosting /datacenters
  • Disaster Recovery Plan
  • SLA (Service Level Agreement) for hosting
  • Certifications
  • Technical architecture
  • Functional architecture
  • Integrations and middleware strategy towards ERP and 3rd Party solutions
This combines front-line outbound activities with deep and effective internal collaboration to deliver upon the PreSales Consulting charter.
Principal Responsibilities:
WHAT YOU WILL DO:


Understand and present the technical aspects of the JAGGAER solution through innovative solution presentations, proposals, webinars, Q&A sessions across the entire JAGGAER solution suite. You will work as part of the overall deal team in bigger opportunities or support and consult the PreSales Solution Consultants in smaller deals to build out the technical proposition aligned to strategy, relevant business case, and the existing customer IT landscape.

  • Prepare and discuss the JAGGAER architecture and integration landscape for a given customer
  • Develop skills internally and feed a knowledge base.
  • Lead an end-to-end implementation discussion regarding the integration capabilities of the JAGGAER One platform to ERP landscape as well as to 3rd party tools
  • Lead administration workshop to explain configuration options
  • Develop strong relationships with prospects by demonstrating a full understanding of their business needs, technical & integration requirements, and their IT solution landscape.
  • Create and maintain technology demonstration assets and environment that highlight how the JAGGAER platform solves specific challenges by industry
  • Assist in completing prospect RFP's working with the local Bid Manager
  • Collaborate with the engagement / professional services team to ensure effective scoping and smooth project and implementation hand-off
  • Contribute directly and through team to corporate and local PreSales Solution Consulting knowledge sharing capabilities
  • Work with Product Management and Development to provide feedback from the field to advance solution functionality
  • Understand Competitive landscape and counter positioning
Position Requirements:
WHAT YOU WILL BRING:
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in technical Solution Architecture or PreSales consulting.
  • Extensive experience in Procurement process design and execution across both Direct and Indirect categories
  • A proven ability to understand and communicate with Procurement process owners, IT architects and integration specialists on customer or partner side.
  • Strong technical knowledge of software, hardware and networks in the area of Procurement and B2B solutions.
  • Experience with integration technologies such as APIs, SOAP, REST, Web Services, CSV, XML, JSON, CXML, EDI, PaaS
  • Good understanding of ERP functionality especially but not limited to SAP in the area of Materials Management, Logistics and Procurement.
  • Attitude for the technology innovation especially on the current market trends on AI and ML
  • Degree educated and/or relevant qualifications
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional communication and proven relationship management skills
  • Demonstrable business acumen, presentation skills and selling aptitude
  • Ability to work collaboratively under pressure and manage priorities while meeting deadlines
  • Teamwork with the other PreSales Solution Consulting team members
  • Work effectively with cross-functional teams at varying resource levels within JAGGAER and customer organizations
  • Demonstrable ability to speak and present publicly in large and high visibility forums

  • Discuss and defend technical aspects of our proposal with the IT team on customer side.
